OUR MISSION

To advance the capability and utility of Remote Sensing data through innovation by providing an open and inclusive environment for developers, facilitate proof of concept & utility assessments, and operationally field revolutionary capability.

VISION

Expand current capabilities for remote sensing data into the following areas:

  • Improved algorithms and applications

  • Data management, processing, exploitation, and dissemination

  • Creation of an enhanced developer and user community

  • Data fusion and novel product gene

Establish an open framework data architecture to empower application development and integrate successful apps demonstrated at Boulder into operations.

Create an environment that spurs innovation, encourages collaboration, and invites participation by third party developers, universities, research firms and more. The TAP lab has been designed to be a collaborative environment where every element supports innovation, and by doing this, the Air Force hopes to attract a diverse pool of talent to tackle the pressing challenges that cannot be faced alone.

Safeguard the technical baseline by demonstrating data, documentation, hardware, software and infrastructure ownership.
